SHOPPERS could be seeing stars when they visit a Worcester opticians tomorrow.
Customers of Specsavers, in Broad Street, might have to look twice at the staff who will be in fancy dress costumes to help raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice, in Bath Road, Worcester.
Employees will be dressed as film stars, including Tom Cruise's Top Gun character Maverick, Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard, Pink Ladies from Grease, and Catwoman.
Store director Stuart Burdett will be donning his tuxedo as he becomes James Bond for the day.
He said: "We're all looking forward to Saturday and being stars while raising money for Acorns.
"We've already managed to raise about £1,000 for the charity so we are well on our way to reaching our target of £5,000 which will provide plenty of trips and activities for the children at the hospice."
The store are also holding a raffle with prizes including a colour television, family tickets for Vue cinema, Odeon cinema tickets, Kevin and Perry video cover signed by comedian Harry Enfield and lots of DVDs.
