MALVERN youngster Alex Bradley has been chosen to train with Premiership side West Bromwich Albion at their development centre at Ledbury.
Malvern Parish pupil Alex, who only celebrated his seventh birthday last month, has already taken part in a game at 'The Baggies' training ground at Perry Bar.
Football-mad Alex plays for Ledbury Swifts U9s where he was spotted by the development centre co-ordinator Vince Hurn.
Vince joined West Bromwich Albion FC in September last year after spending many years with Cardiff City FC. He renewed his working relationship with former boss Paul Compton, who is now head of academy recruitment at WBA, after holding a similar position at Cardiff.
The development centre at Ledbury has been up and running since October, training players from U8s to U11s on a Friday night starting at 6pm and finishing at 7.15pm.
All the coaches, Jamie Edwards, Martin Punt and Alan Hawkins, are qualified UEFA B licence holders and have vast experience.
