Shipston Arts & Crafts Society began 2006 with a social evening with supper and a quiz on Tuesday, January 17. We were delighted that our president, James Butler RA, and Mrs Butler joined us for the evening.
The general knowledge quiz of 40 questions was played by teams of six and the top score was 26 out of a possible 40 - showing how difficult it was. Well do you know Absolute Zero in Fahrenheit? This was followed by a buffet fork supper enjoyed by all.
February brings the RSC costume department to give a talk and show of their work. The AGM is on Tuesday, March 21 with members being asked to bring 'a treasure' to tell us about.
We meet at the Townsend Hall, Sheep Street, at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday
