FEATHERED friends flocked to a middle school in Stourport this week as part of their medieval celebrations.
Windmill CofE Middle School students enjoyed a visit from John Akerman, of the Falconry Centre, Hagley on Monday.
Harris hawks, kestrels, owls and falcons were among the birds of prey brought to the Princess Way school as part of a school project.
Teacher, Helen Watkins, who co-ordinated the event, said: "Windmill School inspires and enriches its curriculum through creative weeks.
"The birds of prey were brought in as part of its medieval celebrations linked to the Layamon weekend at St Bartholomew's Church in Stourport."
