WYRE FOREST Swimming Club hosted the first round of the PGL League, with seven youngsters who had never taken part in a gala before. Indeed, six of these have only been club members for two months.

They achieved 60 personal best times.

DROITWICH swimming club hosted the Redditch Diddy B gala on Saturday, where Wyre Forest youngsters, aged 12 and under, achieved 45 personal best performances, for second place overall.

Six of the swimmers had not competed in galas before, and Oche Igoche, who only joined the club in November, notched up three first places (two individual, one team), and four second places in team races, gaining four pbs on the way.
