MUSICIANS are rallying together to raise money for a Wyre Forest animal charity.
An acoustic concert will be held at Kidderminster Library on Monday and all the proceeds will go to Forest Dog Rescue.
It will feature local performers, Neutron Tears, King Rich, Nick Townsend, Solemn Promise and Method 2 Madness.
Co-organiser, Matt Tarbuck, who performs under the name Neutron Tears, said the acts were keen to support the local charity, which looks after stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs in the Wyre Forest area.
He said: "It is a charity close to my heart. One of the things I like to support is animal welfare. They do a good job at the kennels and they need all the money they can get."
It is the third charity concert he has been involved with at the library and previous events have benefited Cancer Research UK and the Asian tsunami disaster fund.
Mr Tarbuck added: "Last time we raised £180 so we are hoping to raise something similar. It is a nice atmosphere in the library. It is quite an intimate little venue so it suits acoustic music."
Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is payable on the door.
