RESIDENTS opposing the development of a caravan park on land near their homes in Badsey have called on MP Peter Luff to support them.
They sent letters of objections to the Vale MP and Wychavon District Council's, Liberal Democrat member Sonya Ealey.
In his letter, Bob James of Hither Green said: "The application for a caravan site in Badsey is totally unacceptable. We're looking to you to support us in defeating this application."
Mr James fears the caravan site will block existing views of the Cotswolds and will be prone to theft.
"Caravan sites like these are prone to theft, breaking and entry which means a further demand on policing. This application will also devalue the surrounding properties."
The application to turn the land off Hither Green into a touring caravan park has been made by Mr M Pilade.
