ALLAN Shields steps up to convert the high-pressure penalty which has put Cleobury Mortimer Rugby Club just 80 minutes away from a dream Powergen Junior Vase final date at Twickenham.
Shields kept his nerve to land the crucial extra-time kick, sealing a thrilling 3-0 victory over Old Saltleians and sending the Mortimer men marching into the last four of the national competition.
More than 800 rugby fans - including a large contingent of Old Salts supporters - crammed into the grounds of Lacon Childe School to cheer on their heroes in a pulsating match.
But all-conquering Cleobury must leave their home comforts behind and overcome London Exiles away on February 25 to book a place in the April 9 final.
After an away win in the first round, the Midlands Four West South outfit have been drawn out of the hat first and had home advantage in their last six ties.
Now they must replicate their Love Lane form in the capital if they are to cap their best ever run in the competition with a final at the home of English rugby.
