TWO junior members of Broadway Golf Club had their bags stolen on Saturday, each containing a full set of clubs worth upwards of a thousand pounds.
Police were called to the club at around 1.30pm on Saturday, February 4, after the bags were taken from outside the Pro Shop at the club.
Both bags were made up of different brands of clubs and one was worth around £1,000 and the other nearer £1,500.
A black Peugeot 307 with the registration number K955 VSZ stolen from Leicestershire was seen in the area at the time and is suspected of being connected to the incident.
Police have been supplied with CCTV footage from the club and are investigating.
