BIRMINGHAM and Solihull visited Bredon on Sunday for the quarter-final of the Under 16s North Midlands Plate competition.
Bredon dominated from the start, camping in the Lions half of the pitch and were rewarded with a try to Stef Ellis 10 minutes in. Bredon maintained the pressure and racked up the points with trys to Ben Sutterby, Ben Ward (2) and an-other to Ellis on the stroke of half time.
Mark Everett kicked two conversions making the score 29-0.
Bredon continued in the same fashion in the second half, maintaining territorial advantage, and tries to Jack Brixby, Ellis, Tom Robinson and Jamie Bates, with three conversions by Everett ensured a comfortable 55-0 win.
Bredon have yet to find out who they will face at the semi-final on March 5.
Bredon Buzzards mini section travelled to Hucclecote this week. Results were:
Hucclecote U-10s 10, Bredon Buzzards Reds 40;
Hucclecote U-10s 20, Bredon Buzzards Blacks 50;
Hucclecote U-10s 0, Bredon Buzzards 30.
