POLICE plan to issue an artist's impression of a man they want to interview in connection with a distraction burglary in Bidford.
A man claiming to be from Severn Trent water pushed his way into the home of an elderly couple in Victoria Road telling them he was investigating a burst water pipe.
The man was described as white of a small build with dark collar length hair, aged in his mid 30s with a bushy moustache
The couple in their 80's were distracted by the intruder who was wearing dark blue jeans and a fawn sweater with a logo on the chest, in their kitchen while a second man entered into the house.
The elderly pair became suspicious and challenged the man.
The second man also white, bigger build aged about 40, clean shaven with a ruddy complexion wearing jeans and a blue top was seen by the elderly couple walking down the stairs.
The two men left together in the direction of the Evesham Road. The house had been searched but nothing was taken.
