I FEEL I must write to thank the kind people of Hartlebury. They truly are a wonderful collection of people.
My cat went missing on January 8 and, after much frantic searching, I telephoned the Celia Hammond Trust, and a very kind lady gave me some ideas to try to get her back.
One was to call BBC Hereford & Worcester, and another was to advertise in the Shuttle/Times & News - both of which I did.
I put posters in both shops in Hartlebury, where, I might say, the people were so kind and started the task of printing fliers to hand out.
I practically went to very house in Hartlebury, and the warm, kind, heartfelt words of comfort I received was amazing.
There were dozens of people I had never met in my life, giving me a hug and the offers of help were so overwhelming.
After five days we received a call saying the cat may have been in a garden, but after searching she was not to be found.
After another eight days we received four telephone calls in one day. My children and I went calling and the following morning she was home, safe, but very thin.
I would like to express my gratitude for the extreme kindness extended to me during a very traumatic time.
