THERE were two defeats and a draw for the Kidderminster Harriers centre of excellence girls in three friendlies with Coventry City at Baxter College.
The under-12s recent unbeaten record came to an end when they lost 6-2 to Coventry despite a determined display.
Two goals from Droitwich's Lauren Whiteman gave them hope, but ultimately Coventry proved too strong for the hosts.
There were notable performances from Kidderminster keeper Grace Rudd, Redditch's Abigail Hemming and Ferndale Youth's Melissa Lawley.
Stourport's Shannon Chell and Chloe Gough also played along with Jess Rudd, Lucy Bishop and Francesca Short of Kidderminster.
Harriers under-14s restored some pride with a 2-2 draw against Coventry with Worcester's Charlie Stanaway and Ferndale's Sophie Bradshaw on target.
There was a 3-0 loss for the under-16s.
l Ferndale under-10s beat Burlish 2-0 in the Mercian Football League with goals from Abbie Walters and player of the match Jo-Ann Chamberlain.
