THE nightmare start to Shaun Cunnington's temporary tenure in the Aggborough dugout has made him even more determined to land the job on a permanent basis.
The Kidderminster youth team coach's hopes of remaining in the Harriers hotseat have been hit by successive home defeats to Shrewsbury and Boston.
But Cunnington insists the frustration of losing two games on the trot has not put him off wanting the job.
Commenting on the , he said: "If you're a football manager that's what you're in it for.
"I get a buzz out of it. I didn't get a buzz out of our second half performance against Boston but I'm determined to turn it around.
"We've got to stick together because this football club can't go out of the Football League. It's definitely not put me off the job, it's made me even more determined to do it.
"Perseverance, hard work and determination are what it's going to take and I've got all of those ingredients.
"Whether I'm given the time to do it is another matter."
