BIRMINGHAM City's David Burrows is training with Kidderminster Harriers after falling out with boss Steve Bruce.
The former Liverpool left-back, an ex team-mate of Harriers boss Jan Molby's, is keeping up his fitness while he searches for a new club.
However, there has been no suggestion of an Aggborough deal for the 33-year-old whose likely wage demands would be well above what Harriers could afford.
Burrows is out of contract in the summer but can leave earlier after being frozen out at St Andrews.
Bruce insisted: "It's an internal matter and I don't want to give any public statements.
"He's been disciplined and we'll keep it internal.
"I've never suspended or fined him and I've told him to come back when he wants to train properly."
Dudley-born Burrows made seven appearances for England U-21s and is also a B international.
He has played for West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United, Everton and Coventry City as well as Liverpool and Birmingham, amassing over 350 league appearances.
