BEWDLEY Town U-12s' hopes of heading to Jan Molby's homeland for a tournament have been boosted by Kidderminster Harriers.
Bewdley have organised a curry evening, 10km race and a disco with raffle to raise funds.
And they have been aided by a signed ball courtesy of Harriers' management and players, presented by boss Molby, a former Danish international.
The boys' club, who are having an inconsistent season in Stourport and District Youth League Division One, hope to take part in the Vildbjerg Cup in July.
A host of countries will be represented by the 427 teams attending.
And Bewdley are fortunate that one of their coaches, Dale Horton, has relatives in the Scandinavian country.
Team spokesman Peter Panteli said: "It will be an education for the kids both football wise and for them to grow into adults.
"We are confident but have had an up-and-down season in the Stourport league."
