A "MUSICAL extravaganza" with almost 200 parts will take to the stage next month in aid of the Kemp Hospice appeal.
The King with Cold Feet - a joint effort between Kidderminster's Comberton Middle School and the New Dimensional Choir - will play at the town hall on June 20 and 21.
Director John Quelch said £2,000 would be raised for Kemp if both nights were sold out.
Children from nine to 13 will be singing in the musical alongside the adult choir founded by Mr Quelch and pupils will also join in as dancers and actors.
He said: "My children went to Comberton and I've had long-standing links with the school.
"They have a big choir and they're very community based."
Mr Quelch added: "We've been rehearsing since January. It's going really well - we're in the last stages bringing the various groups together for the final few weeks."
This is the third collaboration between Mr Quelch and Comberton Middle since 1996 but the first to benefit the Kemp Hospice appeal.
Kemp is raising money to help transform the former Cedars Hotel in Mason Road, Kidderminster, into a bigger and better day care centre for people with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
It is due to open by the end of the year.
Comberton Middle's head of music Oonagh Humphrey said pupils were learning a lot working with adults on the musical.
"The kids are loving it - the songs are great, very upbeat and very lively. It's a great musical and we're really looking forward to doing it."
Mrs Humphrey added: "It's really good for the children to be good citizens supporting such valuable work that goes on at Kemp."
