HEREFORD United may have been left behind in the Conference but their reserves enjoyed a good 3-0 win at Harriers on Wednesday night.
In a full-blooded Central Conference game full of chances, Rob Elmes (two) and former Stourport Swifts striker Kerry Giddings scored the goals for the visitors.
The first teams of Kidderminster and the Bulls enjoyed a number of non-league derbies until Jan Molby's men secured the championship last season.
Striker Tony Bird and trialist midfielder Ashley Dodd both came close to putting the home side on the scoresheet.
Dodd, 19, is a Stafford-born Manchester United youngster. Meanwhile, midfielder Michael Fowler has returned to Crystal Palace but keeper Graham Abel will train with Harriers next week.
Hereford are now top of the league with a game in hand.
Harriers: Clarke, Davies (D Smith 66), Jackson (Skovbjerg 66), Ayres, Webb, Horne, Dodd, Bogie, Hadley, Bird, Barnett. Subs not used: Corbett, Hall, Reeves.
