zz Worcester City are holding their final trial date for next year's academy intake on Friday, June 4, at St George's Lane from 9.45am.

Youth development officer Ray Woods still has nine places to fill and is urging the county's talented youngsters to try their luck.

"Anybody who is interested this is their final chance to get into the academy," said Woods.

"We have contacted all the league clubs and already taken three or four from Wolves, four from Walsall and this year the standard is a lot higher than before.

"We've just got these final places to fill and we're contacting all the clubs for a final push.

"Anyone interested is welcome to come, even if they've been before, and if they are good enough there will be a place for them."

The trial starts at 9.45am and will last until 12.30pm.
