WORCESTER Rugby Club internationals Nicky Crawford and Joanne Yapp have both been selected to attend the prestigious Hong Kong Sevens. Winger Crawford and scrum-half Yapp will both represent the England Stormers at the tournament which runs from March 28 to March 30.
The players, who both attended the tournament in 1999, will leave England on March 26. They will face Australia, USA, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore in their pool. The final of the tournament will be played as a curtain-raiser to the men's competition. Both Crawford and Yapp are in England's Six Nations Championship side that face Scotland on Sunday.
The two, however, will miss Worcester's RFUW National Cup quarter final cup clash at Saracens on March 31. The Sixways side have never beaten the Watford-based club and Worcester's men lost out earlier there this season in Tetley's Bitter Cup. The other quarter finals see Waterloo facing Lichfield, Wasps playing Alton while holders Richmond entertain Premiership leaders Clifton.
