WORCESTER Wolves player-coach Rick Solvason is determined that his side will break their home duck tonight.

Wolves entertain Coventry Crusaders at University College Worcester (7pm) in a National Basketball League Patron's Cup group match.

Having won their first four games of the season -- all of them away -- Wolves could not take that form home with them when they lost 85-76 to Manchester in a National Cup tie last week.

Solvason, who felt his side could have won the game, said: "There is no question we could have done better.

"The energy in the team was down, silly mistakes were made and some of the things that have been successful for us, we didn't execute.

"It was disappointing to go out of the cup but we have to move on now. To come home and have a disappointment like we did was a big blow.

"But it is a good thing to be able to play in front of our home crowd again so quickly, and hopefully we can put in a good show for them."

Wolves will be confident of making it two wins out of two in their group after winning 101-95 at Coventry in their opener last month.

Matt Wurmli returns to the Wolves squad in place of the unavailable Luke Somerville, while new signing Rikki Prince will get another chance to shine after a pleasing debut last week.

Solvason said of he former Birmingham Bullets player: "He was a bit nervous but he got some scraps and rebounded well. He's very good to work with and eager to learn -- we are looking forward to some positive things from him."

Wolves were due to play a double-header this weekend but their scheduled game at Liverpool tomorrow has been postponed.

Wolves' women are also in home action today, taking on Sheffield Hatters at UCW in the National League Division Two North (4pm).
