SOURCES have revealed boss Jan Molby is interested in signing Icelandic midfielder Bjarni Larusson.
The 25-year-old former Walsall man has been released by Scunthorpe United.
Larusson could provide the bite in the Harriers engine room that Molby is searching for.
It is also well known that the Dane is after a towering centre-half.
Crewe Alexandra's experienced Chris Lightfoot rejected an initial offer from Harriers but is yet to find a new club.
Lightfoot has also stated publicly that the deal is not yet dead and a move to Aggborough is his preferred option at the moment.
He enjoyed a trial period at Kidderminster towards the end of last season, when he played two reserve games, before being released by First Division Crewe.
Harriers' tight budget meant Molby was unable to match the demands of Scottish free-scoring midfielder Paul Sheerin who has joined Ayr United.
