WORCESTER City manager John Barton is currently in talks with three players.
The St George's Lane boss reports negotiations are progressing well but said they are still at a relatively early stage.
"We have been talking to two or three players and are at the second meeting stage at present," he said.
"I've already spoken to one player this morning and I'm seeing somebody later today so hopefully we can push it on a little bit.
"Players are aware of Worcester and we're flattered by their interest.
"We've got priorities for the positions we want to strengthen but we also have to keep our options open and take what crops up as well."
Meanwhile, Worcester midfielder Pat Lyons finally undergoes keyhole surgery on his long-standing hip flexor muscle injury tomorrow.
The 24-year-old missed the last 14 games of the season due to the injury.
