WORCESTER City boss John Barton is aiming to bolster his squad with three signings in the next two weeks.
The City manager has been locked in negotiations and said he hoped to finalise deals on his return from holiday next week.
"I have spoken to a lot of players and narrowed the field down to certainly three that we are in fairly advanced stages with," he said.
"Talks are on-going but I hope to conclude them within a couple of weeks."
Bath midfielder Jon Holloway is City's only confirmed summer signing to date.
City have added a further friendly to their pre-season preparations with an away game at Atherstone United on Saturday, July 28, kick-off 3pm.
Fixtures at home to Wolves and Boston United have already been arranged for Monday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 8, both 7.45pm kick-offs.
