WORCESTER City manager John Barton is looking for his players to respond in the right way to the end of their eight-match winning streak.
Missed chances were to blame as City lost 1-0 at home to title-chasing Bath City on Saturday.
With other results going against them, City have now dropped back to 17th place in the Dr Martens League Premier Division -- only three points outside the relegation zone.
Worcester now have a crucial run of league games against sides around them in the table, starting on Saturday at Havant and Waterlooville.
But Barton wants City to get back to winning ways at Burton Albion tomorrow in the quarter-final of the Dr Martens Cup.
He said: "The run is done and dusted now, and we are looking for the same re-sponse we had after the Tamworth and Newport defeats, starting tomorrow at Burton.
"All the games are important now. There is not one with less importance at-tached to it than any other.
"We were up to the giddy heights of 12th a couple of weeks ago and it can change so quickly because of the tightness of the situation."
Barton had heated words with referee Stephen Creighton at the end of Saturday's game, claiming that there should have been more injury time.
He said: "By my reckoning there was another four minutes to play, but that wasn't the reason we lost the game.
"There was no doubt in my mind that over the 90 minutes we perhaps didn't deserve to win the game, but definitely deserved to get something from it."
Midfielder Ian Cottrill could return for tomorrow's match following an ankle injury, but defender Carl Heeley is doubtful with a shoulder problem.
City's FA Trophy hopes have been given a boost by the sacking of Telford manager Alan Lewer.
His contract is not being renewed following Telford's decision to go full-time next season. Former Wolves striker Andy Mutch, Lewer's assistant, will take charge until the end of the season.
City's home league clash with Halesowen Town, postponed from February 26, has been re-arranged for Monday, March 6.
Their Worcestershire Senior Cup semi-final ag-ainst Solihull Borough will be played at Redditch on Wednesday, March 22.
