BROMSGROVE RFC First XV face their biggest test of the season so far when they entertain unbeaten Derby at Finstall Park this Saturday.
The sides are joint leaders of Midlands Two (West) going into the crucial match, although Dean Ball's side has played a game more.
"It's the big one," the coach said. "What it can do is take the pressure off the second half of the season and put pressure on them (Derby).
Ball knows his side will need to recapture, if not better, the form that saw them destroy Malvern 44-12 on November 8.
He said: "We will find out whether we can raise to the level we need to put a result on the cards against Derby."
Bromsgrove go into the match unbeaten in the league since September and on the back of a 24-18 success at Stoke. Of that match Ball said: "The lads did the job that was necessary."
