SOLIHULL Borough forward Derek Hall has dismissed rumours he is heading for the Valley.
The Borough target man has been linked with a move to Redditch United as the pre-season rumour mill goes into overdrive.
With leading scorer Paul Danks departing for arch rivals Bromsgrove Rovers, Hall has been mentioned as a replacement.
But denials have been made from club and player and a move seems unlikely. Reds boss Rod Brown has been recruiting with four new faces set to link up with the club.
Moor Green have been raided for midfielder Richard Softly, left back Stewart Brighton and goalkeeper Richard Anstiss and experienced midfielder Steve Shaw has been recruited.
Brighton is a familiar face to Redditch fans after a spell at the club which ended when he retired with a back injury three seasons ago.
United's interest in the Moors' former Reds star Martin Myers has been well documented but after Brown hinted to fans he was interested in a former Redditch player at Moor Green, Brighton could prove to be the man in question.
Shaw has not played for a year since leaving Evesham United.
