CARPET workers dipped in to their pay packets to back Operation Covert to the tune of £323.
Every year employees of Brintons Carpets contribute to good causes via a voluntary scheme in which they choose to have an amount deducted from their salary.
Administered by the Brintons Employees Charity Trust, it has donated many thousands of pounds to charity over the years and 16 groups shared nearly £6,000 this year.
Operation Covert was nominated as one of the beneficiaries. Others included Kidderminster St John Ambulance, Wyre Forest Women's Aid, Toc H Thumb-a-Lift, the Salvation Army and Kidderminster Hospitals League of Friends.
