HORSE riders are being reminded they can enjoy a pleasant ride and a drink while raising money for Operation Covert this weekend.
Wyre Forest Ride is being organised by Cordelia Noble - a freelance photographer who works for the Shuttle/Times & News - and her sister Elaine, and will take place on Sunday, from 10am until 2pm.
The entrance fee will be split between the rebuilding of the Rhydd Covert Scout centre and Brooke Hospital for Animals, a charity which cares for horses, mules and donkeys.
The ride, which will be signposted from the Wyre Forest Visitors Centre, off the A4117 between Bewdley and Cleobury Mortimer, will span 12 miles although there is also the option of a five-mile ride.
It will include a visit to the Button Oak Pub, where drinks will be brought out for riders.
Anyone interested in taking part can contact Cordelia on 01384 878782 or e-mail info@noblephotos.co.uk
