A GREEN-FINGERED couple are to open their colourful garden in Kidderminster to raise cash for Operation Covert.
Keen gardeners are invited to the Comberton Avenue house to pick up tips on creating a vibrant display for late spring.
Owners, Sheila and Adrian James, are members of Kidderminster Horticultural Society, whose members will also welcome people into their gardens next month.
Donations from Saturday's opening will go to our appeal.
Mrs James said: "There are a lot of late spring flowers and plants. The garden is very colourful.
"Rhydd Covert has been there for so many years, it is such a shame what happened and it would be great if the Scouts could have a nice new place."
The garden, at 16 Comberton Avenue, will open from 1pm to 6pm.
It will also open the following day for The National Gardens Scheme, from 11am to 5.30pm.
The horticultural society hopes to raise more than £2,000 for Operation Covert when members open their gardens on Sunday, June 26.
