PLAYING for England in their last two matches has been a lot of fun and I've really enjoyed both occasions.
Everyone expects you to be nervous and worried but it's just really exciting.
They are a good set of lads and it's been almost like having a break. It's really refreshed me and I'm looking forward to getting back to the lads at Worcester and getting stuck into some league action.
I can't wait to get back with the club after the weekend. I've missed the boys terribly.
I thought we were a little unlucky to lose against the All Blacks. It was a real shame to get that close and not quite achieve it. To do all that hard work and not succeed is quite hard to take.
There were plenty of positives to come from the game and we got a fairly sympathetic response from the Press but, from a players perspective, winning is massively important. Everyone realises the significance of the occasion.
I'm pretty pleased from an individual perspective but I think my own success and team success go hand in hand. Had we won, then it would have been even better for me.
I think that, without doubt, playing for England against Australia and New Zealand will improve me as a player. It's a very different environment.
The hardest thing about club rugby is the repetition of it. It's easier to get motivated playing the best team in the world in front of 50,000 people.
It's more difficult playing club rugby every week and you need to front up, especially when the fixtures are coming thick and fast.
That's been the biggest improvement at Worcester this year.
The performance against Bristol on Friday night was good. Teams that underestimate Bristol are going to lose to them. They will take some beating and I'll be very surprised if they go down.
To get the win against them is very good because they are in a similar situation to the one we were in last season.
They have not been affected by the internationals and they can be consistent with selection.
It will be another tough match for the lads on Saturday when they travel to Franklin's Gardens to play Northampton.
Saints will be disappointed with their recent form. But they have got some really class players and their back line can really hurt you if you're not completely switched on. Their half-back partnership is incredible and they've also got the likes of Jon Clarke and Bruce Reihana.
It's a big game because it's quite packed in the middle of the table but you have to think that somebody is eventually going to drop down.
We haven't got any bonus points yet but to score four tries against teams is difficult and a lot of bonus points that other teams have won are losing bonus points.
We were unlucky not to get a bonus point at Sale two weeks ago but as long as we keep winning we'll get to where we want to be.
