A FRIENDLY bunch of Kemp supporters battle to keep the rallying cry for funds alive.
The Kemp Friends work tirelessly in heightening people's awareness of the work of the hospice and in running fund-raising events throughout the year - usually in a social setting.
They meet on the first Wednesday of the month and arrange regular events such as Body Shop evenings, coffee mornings and ploughman-and-punch parties.
Members arrange sales of plants and sell Christmas puddings and cakes, organise street collections and tombolas.
They are always ready to welcome new members and anyone interested should contact the chairman, Joyce Fellows, via the hospice on 01562 861217.
