ONE of Worcestershire's most picturesque hotels is undergoing more than half-a-million pounds of redevelopment work.

Dormy House Hotel at Broadway is a leading member of the Conference Worcestershire group - which aims to attract business tourism to the county - and is this month set for a £600,000 overhaul.

Ten new bedrooms are being built, eight luxury rooms and two magnificent suites. In contrast to the traditional setting, in a stunning 17th Century converted country house, the new rooms will have state-of-the-art business extras, such as broadband and flat screen TVs.

Orazio Pollaci, marketing co-ordinator at Dormy House, said: "The whole team is really excited with the project, and can't wait for the new rooms to be up-and-running.

"Each of the Conference Worcestershire venues offers something great for businesses, whether it is for a product launch, meeting or just an away day, but we are always trying to offer even more to our clients.

"These new rooms and facilities at Dormy House are just one way of improving the experience for visitors to the county."
