ONE of Worcester's most picturesque gardens is open to the public this weekend to help charities.
Shoppers can take respite from the crowds in the quiet walled garden of Greyfriars, in Friar Street, in the heart of the city, on Saturday.
As part of a National Garden Schemes open day, a wide range of charities including Macmillan Cancer Relief and Marie Curie Cancer Care, will benefit from the £1.50 admission charge, between 1pm and 4pm.
The house and garden will be open for the summer from Wednesday, March 1 between Wednesday and Saturday, 1pm to 5pm. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the house and a family quiz.
