SIR - With the full support of all Lib Dem and Labour MEPs, the EU Parliament has just voted in favour of continuing the ratification process of the EU Constitution.
The proposal sponsored by Lib Dem MEP Andrew Duff suggested certain changes should be made to clear the way for approval. However, recognising that the Constitution is unlikely to be easily approved in the UK, he suggested that the changes should not be translated into English to keep us in the dark.
We must oppose this back-door method of handing over even more control of our country to the EU.
MARK STARR,
Leigh Sinton.
