PUPILS from Chawson First School in Droitwich have become some of the first youngsters to experience the latest craze in getting fit.
The children visited the town's Leisure Centre and took part in a 'Junior Rebound' class, which involves exercising to music on a mini trampoline.
The concept utilises gravity and the childrens' work against the force to maximise the effect of the exercise.
As well as working the heart, this exercise also tones the core muscles - and, according to Lauren Hasted, who teaches the class, it brings a smile to their faces.
She said: "The kids were really easy to teach and really responded to the music. They were great."
