IT may be cold outside, but on stage it's hot, hot, hot as Footloose cranks up the heat at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre.
This high-energy show produces enough electricity to power a small town, so leave your thermals behind and go and check it out.
Footloose tells the story of Ren, a big city boy who finds himself in small town America where dancing is banned.
Needless to say sparks fly as our hero rebels against the system and finally gets the whole town up on its dancing feet.
Footloose stars Cheryl Baker, of Bucks Fizz fame, and Stephen McGann, from Emmerdale. But the whole cast is simply brilliant breathing new life into a string of classic 80s songs including Holding Out For a Hero, Let's Hear It For The Boy and, of course, Footloose.
The show is on its second UK tour prior to its transfer to the West End and will only be at The Alex until this Saturday, February 4.
With this much energy on stage it could be just the winter-warmer you need. AW
