LAST week Jim Eyre stated that he was assured by the district council at the Rubery Spotlight meeting that Councillor Stephen Peters was incorrect in saying that a third wheelie bin would be introduced in 2006 for the collection of recyclable materials.
If that's true can I ask Councillor Roger Hollingworth, leader of Bromsgrove District Council, to confirm through the paper that he has no plans to introduce a third bin now or in the future.

l Cllr Margaret Sherrey, cabinet member responsible for waste management, said: "The whole issue of recyclable collection bins is under review. We have no positive plans to introduce a third bin this year. Any major changes in the future would involve public consultation before any decisions are made."
Cllr Roger Hollingworth is currently away on holiday.
