I WRITE to support the comments made by Graham Bennett in his letter in last
week's Your View.
The roads and verges in the district are a disgrace, covered in litter and fly-tipped rubbish. Anyone driving down Worcester Road into Bromsgrove cannot miss the rubbish thrown onto roads and verges.
Also note the discarded television sets dumped by the road out of Belbroughton.
This is not just a local problem, driving home from Southampton along the A34 is rather like driving through a 50 mile long rubbish tip.
One wonders what foreign tourists think as they enter this country?
As the Advertiser/Messenger prides itself on its campaigning perhaps this would be a useful project to undertake, for a cleaner Bromsgrove and district, one we can once again be proud of.

Bromsgrove
l A good idea Joan! It's one we have been considering since last week's letter from Grahame Bennett and we're setting this in motion right now. We will be making an announcement in next week's paper.
