BARNT Green Spartak will be aiming to progress into the next round of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup when they entertain Northfield Town tonight (Wednesday, 7.45pm kick off).
Spartak will be aiming to maintain their good form against local rivals at Alvechurch's Lye Meadow ground.
Spartak go into the match in a rich vein of form after beating Nuneaton Griff 4-2 in the Midland Combination Premier Division on Saturday.
Kevin Brookes (2), Michael Campbell and an own goal made sure second placed Spartak keep on the pressure on leaders Atherstone Town.
On Wednesday, January 25, Spartak had came from 1-0 down to beat Malvern Rangers in the first round of the Smedley Crooke Cup.
Jae Martin bagged an equaliser in the second, before Zahoor Suliman grabbed the winner.
