THE fifth round of the Winter League at Broad-way turned the attention to the greensomes format and again scoring was excellent.
The top three pairs all returned 44 points with winners Mike Hitchcock and Malcolm Scarsbrook taking top spot on countback from Terry Moulder and Alan Cave and Mark Pritchard and Richard Tate.
There was a change at the top of the order when club captain John Skinner and Roy Leadbeater slipped down to fourth with their aggregate score of 203.
Taking over at the summit were Stuart Sollis and Chris Godson but just ten points separate the top ten pairings.
Retiring captain Chris Wright presented a cheque to the value of more than £2,100 to the acting ward sister at Evesham Comm-unity Hospital for the benefit of the Willows Stroke and Rehab Unit.
