Evesham U-11 21pts, Bromyard 38
THE Avon Street youngsters ran on to the park hoping to continue the form shown against Shipston but a slow start gifted the visitors three unanswered tries before the home side woke up!
The hosts came close on two occasions following good runs from Harry Perry and Douglas Lance before Jack Hughes finally crossed the line. Hughes added the conversion to make the half-time score 21-7.
Evesham started the second half as they finished the first, putting Bromyard on the back foot and again came close after strong runs from Josh Sands and Kieran Court.
However, a lack of concentration allowed the visitors to cross for three more tries to give them a commanding 38-7 advantage.
Evesham finally started firing on all cylinders with player of the match Sion Roberts and Harry Charnley finishing off some superb teamwork with Hughes adding the conversions but it all proved too little to late.
