BUDDING engineers at Studley High School took up the challenge to design and build a model of a wind-powered generator.
The task was set as part of a Science and Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) day encouraging youngsters to work in teams. Pupils also had to design a power transmission system and had the chance to test their designs at the end of the session, with prizes awarded to the most successful. The day was held at the Crooks Lane school on Thursday.
