A CALLOW Hill man has clocked up 25 years working for the Royal Automobile Club (RAC).
Roy Davies, of Foxholes Lane, was rewarded for his hard work and commitment with a gold watch at a ceremony at the RAC in Pall Mall, London. He began his career as a staff engineer at the National Technical Centre in Birmingham. Later he was involved in the implementation of revolutionary Rapid Deployment Trailers into patrol vehicles. Asked what he enjoys about his job, Mr Davies said it was the people, with many of his colleagues becoming good friends. RAC Rescue director Debbie Hewitt said: "I'd like to offer my thanks and congratulations to Roy who has been a dedicated colleague in the RAC Rescue business."
