A TOWN green group is recruiting new members.
Redditch Friends of the Earth (FOE) is inviting residents to 'think global, act local' this year and help protect the environment.
Group member Alistair Waugh said: "Taking action can really make a difference - to your community and to communities across the world. You don't have to be an expert to join us. Come along, there's something for everybody."
He added: "While we have concerns about local issues, like the threat to habitats in Redditch, we are also more passionate about tackling the causes of climate change.
"We hope to get more people volunteering this year so that we can achieve a lot more. Often we need someone to update our website or write a letter. Could you be the person we are after?"
The group meets at Park House on Evesham Street, Smallwood, on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm. Refreshments are served.
