A popular group for mums to help teach their babies to sing will be able to continue, thanks to a £5,000 Lottery grant.
B@by Talk was launched by Melody Makers, a mother and baby group from Evesham, last September.
The weekly meetings are a chance for new mums to get together and share advice as well as help their babies develop by teaching them nursery rhymes and other simple songs.
Sarah Pillar, who set up Melody Makers, said the cash boost affirms that the group is good for the community.
She said: "We are thrilled to be able to continue with a project that is clearly very popular and beneficial to both babies and mothers.
"In the past, mothers have usually had an extended family to help with a young baby, whether that's having granny sing lullabies or an aunt passing on advice.
"Nowadays, mothers can feel quite isolated, so B@by Talk was set up to provide that same support network."
More than 40 families have attended the meetings since they started.
Melody Makers is considering setting up a mobile group to help those living in isolated villages and those with transport problems.
