When I first read your headlines regarding the proposed land train for the hills, I thought, at last, the Conservators are preparing themselves for entry into the 21st Century.
However, on reading further, I was disappointed at the rather negative comments made by Sue Thetford and other board members.
May I point out to the board that at present access to the hills is denied to a large section of the public, namely the disabled, elderly and infirm, and I am sure a land train would be greatly appreciated. The Conservators, as far as I can see, have taken no steps to make access to the hills disability-friendly.
Let's hope this will be addressed when the suggestion goes for consultation.
Steve Harrison, Tanhouse Lane, Malvern.
