A PLAYGROUP has been saved from closure following an appeal in the Malvern Gazette.
Pendock Playgroup had been searching for a leader since last July and was in danger of closing.
However, the appeal was successful and Paula Neilson has been appointed as leader. She will be assisted by Chris Hall.
Secretary Sam White said: "It's terrific news and we are really looking forward to our new beginning."
The group meets on Tuesday mornings at Pendock school and new children would be welcome. There is already a toddler group on Wednesday mornings. The group is holding a jumble sale at 2pm tomorrow (Saturday) at Berrow Village Hall.
