A CREATIVE Wyre Forest youngster has used his skills to think up and help design the new name for the district's after-school clubs.
Peter Gallagher, 11, came up with the name, Fun Factory, while taking part in the district council's summer Kids Klub.
The colourful logo he inspired will now be used on banners and tee-shirts to spread the word about the free sessions.
Peter, who attends Wolverley's Heathfield School, explained: "I was really shocked when I heard they had chosen mine because my brother is the more artistic type. I am a good thinker but not that good at art."
He added: "The clubs are brilliant and I would tell anyone thinking of going to them to stick their neck out and try it."
Loz Samuels, the council's play development officer, said: "We had a brilliant response and received some upbeat suggestions to signify fun and creativity."
A variety of activities are available to youngsters at the clubs, which run until about 5.30pm after the end of the school day.
Upper Arley First School has a group on Mondays and Kidderminster's Sladen Middle School does the same on Wednesdays.
Only pupils at those schools can attend the sessions and places should be booked through staff on the sites.
All district youngsters, aged between eight and 12, are invited to join the fun in Kidderminster at St Cecilia's Church Hall on Tuesdays or Park Street's Red Cross Building on Thursdays.
An event is also held on Fridays at Lickhill Community Centre in Stourport. A drop-in booking system is in operation at all the non-school sites. For more information about the scheme, log on to www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk or call 01562 732977.
