WYRE Forest drivers are being warned to step up security after thieves targeted satellite navigation systems.
Five of the hi-tech gadgets, each worth hundreds of pounds, were stolen from vehicles in the town between January 6 and 10.
Motorists are being urged to take their devices out of cars - even when leaving them for only a few minutes in a well-lit spot.
Three systems and mobile phones have been taken in separate incidents from vehicles at the Sandy Lane industrial estate.
A TomTom model, worth £279, was stolen from the cab of a lorry on January 6, along with a Nokia mobile phone, between 12.30pm and 1pm.
On January 9, another lorry was targeted when a Mio sat nav system and mobile phone were stolen between 2pm and 4pm.
The following day, another TomTom model was taken from a Ford Ranger between 12.30pm and 1pm after a window was smashed.
A BT Ford Transit van, which was parked near Sion Gardens, had its Navman system, worth £300, taken on January 10 between 3.45pm and 4.15pm.
The same day, at 6.30pm, another TomTom device was removed from a Mitsubishi Shogun in Foundry Street after a window was smashed, causing £100 of damage.
A man was seen running away from the scene.
A £600 Road Angel system was taken from a silver Renault Trafic van parked in Mill Lane, Kidderminster.
Another TomTom model was removed from a vehicle in Villers Street, Kidderminster.
